- Your next seminar will be March 4th, from 9-12. For those of you who took the GACE in January please bring a copy of your score report for your folder.
- You need to administer your student surveys if you teach on a block schedule or will be getting new students in January. These forms are on the TAPP webpage and are located in Section 10 of the handbook.
- Things that are due at the Jan. 17th Seminar: (1)Videotape w/ reflection;(2)First Semester Unit Plan w/ Impact on Student Learning; (3)Copies of Domains 2 & 3 Observation Instruments from your mentor; (4) Action Plans for all 4 Domains.
- We will be having an optional seminar on Nov. 20th. You may come and work with us on unit plans, lesson plans, portfolio, or other TAPP requirements. Please let us know if you have any questions about this work day.
- Please bring your 3 week Unit Plan and Impact on Student Learning to the Nov. 1st or Jan. 17th seminar. Your videos from first semester will be due on Jan. 17th with the reflection form.
- The January Seminar Date has been changed from Jan. 15th to Jan. 17th. The time will be 9am to 3pm. Please mark your calendars and change any professional leave forms that you may have filled out.
- Dana's husband fell out of a deer stand and broke his ankle/leg on Sat. Oct. 13th. He has had surgery. Please remember their family in your prayers.
- Don't forget to videotape yourself before Christmas and complete the reflection form and share it with your mentor.
- You should have 6 mentor observations by the end of this semester!!!!
- TAPP Seminar Wednesday, Sept. 26th, 1-4pm!! You do not have to bring your handbooks.
- I have not forgotten about ya'll. I am trying to get in to observe you. My schedule is really crazy right now. Please let me know if you are having any problems.
- Pray for Donna. She fell and broke her ankle Sat. nite and will have surgery on Monday. She will be out for at least 4 weeks.
- Your first seminar will be tomorrow (Thurs., Aug. 23rd from 9-12). Please be on time. Also, if you do not teach in the HGRESA area and you have not sent us your school calendar please bring it with you to the seminar. Don't forget to bring your handbooks! -Remind your mentors of the mandatory mentor training. If they are not coming on Aug. 21st, they MUST attend on the 29th. Please check with them to make sure they have registered with Dana.
- The Exceptional Child Course will be taught at GLRS in Dublin starting in Sept. The course dates are: Sept. 6, 13, 22, 27; Oct. 4,11,13,18,25; Nov. 1,8,10,15. This is a total of 14 days including 3 Saturday classes. The hours are: 4:30-7:30 every Thursday & 8:30am-1:30pm on Saturdays. You MUST have this class in order to be certified. The phone number to register is 478-275-3666. Deadline to register is Sept. 3. The cost is $300. You may take this course at another RESA or at a college.
-We need the names of your mentors and your school email addresses if you have not already sent these to Dana. There will be a mentor training on Aug. 21st at RESA and we need to send your mentor a letter about this MANDATORY training. Please send your mentor's information to Dana by this Friday, Aug. 10th.
